Concept Lexus is Speilberg's prodigy

Concept Lexus is Speilberg's prodigy

The whole futuristic concept of the film Minority Report did not just begin and end in the plot of the story. There would have to be a lot of hard work especially with the production. The greatest challenge would be to make the setting 50 years advanced, which was an era that is yet to be discovered. And at the same time, it would have to look convincing enough to us---the people of the present time.
From the outset, director Steven Speilberg was not interested in creating a science fiction film, but rather, a reality future film. So hence he called upon a team of people who could brainstorm with him what the future will probably look like. And this includes the transport system, ingeniously crafted which was only strengthened by the debut of the 2054 Red Lexus Sports Coupe. "I've been driving a Lexus SUV," Spielberg said. "And I thought Lexus might be interested in going into a speculative future to see what the transportation systems and cars would look like on our highways in 50 years. The result of that exploration is something that elevates and transforms driving into an environmental experience."
This futuristic Lexus - designed as a high-performance, two-seat personal sports car - flexes a muscular design with the ultimate in cab-forward seating; a low, enclosed wheelbase for sportiness; aggressive lines, and proportions so unexpected that, at first glance, it's not entirely evident which end is the front and which is the rear. It includes features like Heads-Up instrumentation with Night Vision and Organic Recognition capability, Color-impregnated, Carbon composite body panels with dent-resistant memory, Body conforming bucket seats with automatic heating and cooling functions, Laser Guided Cruise Control, Stereolithography formed body panels, Body panels color selectable by owner voice recognition, All systems fully computer-controlled with Voice-Activated and Gesture-Recognition capability, Sonar Parking Assist and others. This innovative take at the “Car of the Future” surely hit the big screen with a bang, and it awed all its audiences.
